Missions

It's in our name. It's in our DNA.

We believe that Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations compels us to support those who have the gift and the passion to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world.

Therefore, we enthusiastically support a large variety of local and foreign mission efforts both financially and by our volunteer efforts.

Missions Sunday!

Every year our church sets aside a Sunday in November to dedicate our financial offering specifically for the mission efforts we support.  It is an amazing day, and our church's generosity is a wonderful blessing to behold.

Synergy Services

Synergy provides a full continuum of care to assist individuals and families with immediate respite from violence, and services which empower clients to find and choose good options for future safety and success. In addition to their work to treat the effects of violence, they provide supportive services to families in crisis in an effort to prevent violence. Additionally, they focus on community education and social change in an effort to build a safer and more humane society.

Our church serves food and takes on other service projects to support this wonderful organization.

The Bridge

The Bridge is a mentoring program for at-risk youth in Topeka, KS. They provide a safe place for urban children to belong and develop strong relationships with mature, stable, loving Christian mentors in order that through us they – and their families – might come to know, love, and worship Jesus Christ. They began this work in 2008, targeting a small group of students from Meadows Elementary School. They plan to follow these students from elementary school, through middle school and high school, and off to college.

Our church has gone to serve with The Bridge in a variety of projects over the years.

Jim and Francis Martin created Honduras Ministries to nurture the spiritual and physical needs of the people of Honduras through education, a unique child enrichment program, and rural community development. They operate in the ultra-poor communities throughout rural Honduras; communities that are forgotten, ignored, and abandoned by their government.  When possible, they also provide medical aid to the communities they serve.
